This is why I love San Francisco. Here is a look at what is going on this weekend in the Bay Area, according to SF Weekly:
– Hardly Strictly, obviously, which (if history is any guide) is going to draw perhaps 800,000 people to Golden Gate Park between Friday and Sunday.
– SF Giants playoff games on both Saturday and Sunday.
– The 49ers are playing the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon at Candlestick.
– Fleet Week airshows will be happening in the northern part of the city.
– The America’s Cup hits high gear in the Bay both days this weekend.
– Sunday brings the the Castro Street Fair, which draws perhaps 60,000 people on its own, according to the Chron.
– The Italian Heritage Parade in North Beach also goes down on Sunday afternoon.
– The Burning Man Decompression party in the Mission runs Sunday from noon to midnight.
– Also, two giant cruise ships will be docking at Pier 35.
This weekend was meant to be full of rest, in preparation for a crazy busy week of events with CMF. Unfortunately, I can’t pass up all of these opportunities. #LTDdaily
