Let’s talk talent. I ran across these guys when a friend of mine launched his annual charity concert in Mount Vernon, Ohio to support international organizations that reach out to children in need. The concert lineup was set, and funds were going to My Father’s House, the school and home for orphans that I worked at while in Uganda. As I prepared for the event, I began listening and was immediately drawn to these guys. Their style, paralleling one of my favorite bands of all time, As Cities Burn, is a unique form of both energy and emotion. On stage, they play their hearts out, but their lyrics are loaded with stories, thoughts, and struggles that we all can relate too. Rooted in the Canton, Ohio indie scene, Come Wind has emerged as an band with opportunity and desire to shine. I love their music, but more importantly their hearts through involvement at the Extended Melodies Project.
