Today, you’ll see a lot in the news about Net Neutrality, but a lot of folks don’t know what that even means. The reality is, this has a LOT of implications for content creators and consumers on digital channels. Net neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers must treat all data on the Internet the same, and not discriminate or charge differently by user, content, website, platform, application, type of attached equipment, or method of communication. We currently function out of a Net Neutrality approach, but a repeal is being voted on today.
